After 10 years gaining invaluable experience with top London design companies, Debbie set up her own practice in 2005.
Her previous design work includes hotels, offices, and retail. However most recently she has specialised in the residential sector.
Debbie has completed multiple projects for existing Clients, as well as providing a range of design services for new ones, often referred by them.
She doesn’t have a specific design style, and loves the challenge of taking on a new job, getting to know her client, and then creating a scheme to suit their wishes and lifestyle.
She recently completed the traditional re-design of a 350 year old house in The Cotswolds, whilst simultaneously transforming a 6 year old house in London.
After discussing the client’s ideas, Debbie adds her advice and skill to achieve a mutually satisfactory result. She is equally happy to create something completely new, and believes the designer/client relationship and communication, are key.
Debbie is passionate
about colour, texture and balance, and likes to produce practical solutions, rather than attempt to achieve unrealistic dreams.
Debbie regularly organises
the refurbishment of existing “loved” pieces of furniture, giving them a completely new look and lifespan.
She also designs individual items, inspired by an idea or a photo, which are meticulously drawn to scale, with finishes selected to complement each scheme.
Trusted and long-standing suppliers are appointed, and Debbie oversees the whole process to ensure a high quality finish.
Recent projects have centred on, but are not restricted to, London, the Cotswolds, and the south of England, and Debbie is happy to either take on a complete project, or work as a Consultant on an hourly or daily basis.
